Lunar August 15 is Mid-Autumn Festival in China. And It's a time for families come together to appreciate the full moon and eat mooncakes, pray for a harvest and happiness, and becoming a colorful and precious cultural heritage. As one of activities on  Mid-Autumn Festival, moon cake betting is a unique Mid-Autumn Festival traditional activity in Fujian Xiamen. It originated in the early Qing Dynasty and become a unique moon cake culture. It is also a kind of inheritance of history in southern Fujian. According to legend, the Mid-Autumn Festival Moon cake betting was invented by Zheng Chenggong when he was on the Gulangyu Island to solve the soldiers’ Mid-Autumn Festival love and encourage morale. Therefore, from generation to generation, it has become a unique folk custom in southern Fujian. And Seaflo team will hold Moon cake betting activity on Mid-Autumn Festival.
